Observing Childhood, Transforming Parenting.

She...

She...

I wrote these lines during the quiet, uncertain days of COVID, when the world had come to a pause. Today, as I read them again, I realise how little their truth has changed, and how much we still need to listen.

She…

She said No

She asked me to Stop

She Pleaded

She Cried

And yet bore it all...

She showed signs of sickness

for years and years...

She gave me shelter

She gave me food

Taught me medicine from herb

She gave me rain

She gave me warmth

And I......

I made my house

Made my rules

And in her lap...I made my world

I grew and grew....

and I grew so deaf towards her

Not cause I don’t love her

But I was busy in my own created Noise.

She finally took charge,

for Her and for Me

Cause she could see what I could not...

Today I can see her heal,

I can see her smile

And wait

I can breathe

I can hear the birds

I can see the sky n the stars

They say it takes 21 days to form a habit.

My mother asked me to wait, to see, to feel, to breathe.

And I hope I make this a habit

To be in Harmony with Her!!

My Mother

My Earth!!..
